This 40 mm boost gauge is custom made for boost leak testing but can be used for any use where needle dampening and a durable case is required.
Features a shock proof design with a stainless steel housing and liquid-filled with glycerin to prevent the needle from jumping if the tester is dropped or knocked around

Use a generous amount of Teflon tape or similar sealant on the threads of the boost gauge. This will allow the gauge to be hand threaded with minimal effort and still make a seal if it needs to be rotated to have better visibility of the boost gauge.
Do not over-tighten by hand! If you want to tighten down the gauge, use an 11mm or 7/16” wrench at the base of the gauge.
