Boost leak tester for the Subaru Legacy GT with the stock turbo, up to 2003. It uses a 2.75" billet aluminum end cap with a liquid-filled gauge, silicone coupler and T-bolt clamps.
The easiest place to test a Subaru is the turbo intake pipe right after the MAF housing, so you don't have to dig down to the turbo inlet. Install the tester there, cap the vacuum and PCV lines on the intake pipe with the vinyl cap assortment, and remove the oil cap before you pressurize. Start around 5 PSI, then check the intercooler, its couplers, the bypass valve and the throttle body. Our Subaru boost leak test guide walks through it with photos.
