Check the engine and year in the product name, or text us a photo of your setup and we'll point you to the right kit.
We make two Volkswagen testers, and both mount inside the turbo intake pipe, so there is nothing to unbolt from the turbo. One fits the 1.8T. The other fits the 1.9 TDI diesel, and a full test takes about 10 minutes. Both are billet aluminum with a gauge, and fill from shop air. Running a 2.0T EA888? The PCV return cap you need to seal the system during a test is listed on our Audi page. For any other VW setup, including upgraded turbos and aftermarket intake pipes, measure the outside of your turbo inlet and pick a universal tester in that size. Boost leaks on these engines usually show up as a split coupler, a loose clamp or a cracked PCV hose, and they often trigger an underboost code or a lean condition. A quick leak test tells you before you start replacing parts.
