Boost leak tester for the Mercedes E320 CDI with the 3.2L OM648 inline-six diesel (W211, 2002 to 2006). On these diesels a leaking intercooler hose or cracked charge pipe causes low power, black smoke and limp mode.
The kit uses a 2.375" billet aluminum end cap that fits over the turbo inlet, with a liquid-filled gauge, silicone coupler and T-bolt clamps. Install it on the turbo inlet, pressurize the intake side with the engine off starting around 5 PSI, and listen for hissing at the intercooler hoses, the charge pipe joints and the intake manifold.
