Boost leak testing your Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi testers are split by turbo and by where they mount. For the Evo 8 and Evo 9, the stock 16G and Big 16G testers mount on the turbo inlet, and FP Black, Red, Green and White turbos use the 2.5" (64mm) or 3.25" (84mm) inlet tester. The Evo X and Lancer Ralliart testers fit the stock upper intercooler pipe, with a separate Evo X tester for upgraded 3" turbo inlet pipes. The Evo 3 is covered too. The DSM cars (the 1G and 2G Eclipse, the Eagle Talon and the 1G Plymouth Laser) all use the same testers, grouped under the Eclipse / Talon / Laser button: one for the stock 14B, one for the stock T25 and one for the 16G or Evo 3 upgrade. Every tester is billet aluminum with a liquid-filled gauge. Start at 5 PSI, work up to your normal boost, and check the intercooler piping, the blow-off valve and every coupler.
