Boost leak tester for the Ford Escape 2.3L EcoBoost. A boost leak on this engine often sets P0299 (turbo underboost) and causes sluggish power and poor fuel economy.
The tester mounts at the turbo inlet so you can pressurize the charge pipes, intercooler and intake manifold and find the leak. Start at about 5 PSI and work up, then spray soapy water on the joints to see exactly where it's leaking.
