Test your Volvo T5 motor the easy way!
This Boost Leak Tester kit mounts the plastic inlet pipe of your turbo. This is the pipe that sits between the airbox and the turbo inlet. Slip the boost leak tester onto the pipe after disconnecting it from the maf/airbox assembly. You'll be able to test the connection of the intake pipe at the turbo inlet, and everything after the turbo including intercooler, clamped connections, throttle body, injector o-rings, intake manifold, divertor valves and the many random potential leak points.
Use a low pressure to start testing the system and work your way up to 15 psi recommended. The top-mounted threaded boost gauge to easily read the pressure in the system while testing without having to run into the driver's seat to read the boost level.
Comes standard with a 30-PSI gauge, threaded tire valve stem fitting and (2) stainless steel T-bolt clamps.
Also includes the necessary vinyl cap to block off the nipple on the back of the plastic turbo inlet pipe.
