Product Description
Boost leak tester sized for Garrett GT and GTX turbos with the 4" anti-surge compressor inlet, including the GT/GTX 30R, 35R and 37R and the 3076, 3082, 3576 and 3582.
Slip the tester into your intake hose, clamp it down, and pressurize the whole intake tract with shop air through the included fitting. Then listen and spray soapy water to find every leak in minutes, with the engine off.
Includes:
- 4" O.D. billet 6061 aluminum end cap
- Liquid-filled stainless 30 PSI boost gauge
- M-type air fitting and tire (Schrader) valve stem, so it works with any shop compressor or tire inflator
- Heavy-duty stainless T-bolt clamps
Signs of a boost leak: loss of power and slow spool, lower fuel economy, check engine lights (P0299 underboost), whooshing or whistling under boost, running rich, and boost gauge fluctuations.
