Mercedes Sprinter Van 2.7L Boost Leak Tester (2002-2006 T1N) - OM612 OM647 CDI - Billet Aluminum 30 PSI

Boost leak tester for the 2002-2006 Sprinter Van (T1N) with the 2.7L inline-5 CDI diesel (OM612 / OM647, 156 hp). Pressure test the turbo intake, charge pipes and intercooler to track down boost leaks, low power and P0299 codes.

Slip the tester into your intake hose, clamp it down, and pressurize the whole intake tract with shop air through the included fitting. Then listen and spray soapy water to find every leak in minutes, with the engine off.

Includes:

• 2.25" O.D. billet 6061 aluminum end cap
• Liquid-filled stainless 30 PSI boost gauge
• M-type air fitting and tire (Schrader) valve stem, so it works with any shop compressor or tire inflator
• Heavy-duty stainless T-bolt clamps

Signs of a boost leak: loss of power and slow spool, lower fuel economy, check engine lights (P0299 underboost), whooshing or whistling under boost, running rich, and boost gauge fluctuations.
