This high quality boost leak tester is designed to perform a boost leak test for your turbo charged engine, and now includes the 5 ft extension hose kit with shut-off valve and 150 PSI air regulator for precise control over your shop air.
This is an important tool that every turbo car owner needs in their arsenal of tools. It is going to keep the turbo healthy by eliminating leaks in the boost path. It is a must if you are tuned and or going to get a custom tune, or any time you are replacing any components in the intake tract such as charge hoses, intercooler, manifold, vacuum lines, injectors...etc. Also a must if you are going to the track and want the peace of mind that everything is tight and capable of handling sustained boost without blowing any hoses off.
Why add the extension hose kit?
This will allow you to have precise control over the pressure entering into your turbo system. Almost mandatory for use in any shop environment where the preset shop air is too high for a boost leak test and needs to be regulated down.
The 5 ft extension hose allows you to stand free and clear from the tester (in case it pops off) and allows you to comfortably regulate the pressure as needed. The ball valve lets you turn the pressure into the system on and off - this can be very important for you to check the decay or bleed rate after filling the system with pressure. The bleed rate lets you know how well the system holds, and this can only be done by cutting off the pressure to the tester.

- Universal Tire Schrader Valve and 1/4" NPT M-Type compressor fitting
- (2) Stainless Steel T-Bolt Clamps with Teflon lock-nut
- (1) 5 ft. Continental extension hose with stainless on/off valve for easy control - All 1/4" NPT Fittings M-Type
- (1) 150 PSI Air Regulator for added safety and control for shop air - aluminum housing
- Self purging regulator when turning the pressure down
